In 1995 American Commonwealth Mortgage Company was acquired by David Cabral, a former banker with over 15 years of commercial banking experience. Jim Zurbriggen joined the company in 1997 as co-owner bringing with him expertise in construction and real estate development loans. Jim is also a former banker with over 25 years of commercial banking experience. Prior to this association, Dave and Jim worked together for over 12 years at one of Las Vegas’ premier commercial business banks. Jim was a member of senior management of the bank and Dave was a senior vice president. They dealt primarily with real estate and construction lending and banking of the construction trades. They have now brought their experience, credibility and reputations together and have assembled a team of real estate lending professionals to serve southern Nevada’s real estate lending and trust deed investment market through American Commonwealth Mortgage Company.
